ABOUT DR. SAVANNAH

Savannah’s background is in the kitchen, where her love of food met her exploration of health and medicine. She attended Nicholls State University as well as L’Institut Paul Bocuse where she received her Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts. She worked in kitchens, mainly in New York learning from some of the best chefs in the world. After that season, she took a few years to travel throughout Central and South America. During that time, she attended a 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Upon returning to the states, she realized she was ready for her next career, one where she could live more of her true potential. She enlisted in Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego and found her true love, Chinese spiritual alchemy- “the meeting ground between disciplines such as acupuncture, herbalism, pure philosophy, and religion.”

Together, through her doctorate and masters in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, her learned knowledge and trainings of Five Elements, one of the original lineages of the Daoist’s Inner Traditions of Chinese medicine, along with her background in yoga and food, Savannah is grateful to offer her practice to those in the North County San Diego region.

Her focus is on the inner tradition of Chinese medicine- the focus on the patient’s emotional and spiritual wellbeing. In this tradition, the diagnosis and treatment is in understanding that when our hearts and spirits are at ease and in true fulfillment of their destiny, physical ailments will ease.

Savannah often treats hormonal imbalances, infertility struggles, chronic and acute physical pain, autoimmune diseases, gut imbalances, fatigue, and mental/emotional imbalances.
